i want to grow my own sage for smudging but live in mountainous cold and wet wales so would have to grow indoors lol
im also not a natural at gradening and am finding some of the terminology on the net very confusing and at time contradicting... but that might just be me misunderstanding the terminology.
anyway any tips would be well appreciated. thank you.

Really, I would have said the opposite about 'mountainous and wet' Wales ... Particularly the Rhondda Valley :)

:( the link says -
"What sage does not like is soil that is moist all the time - it is a native of Mediterranean areas"

"sage prefers dry sunny conditions."

"the odd strong wind may snap the brittle woody stem"

so deffinately gonna have to be grown indoors lol dont get much dry sunny weather here.
