So this last week I stayed up til early in the morning (like 1-2am) working on finishing a paper and studying for a midterm so now I'm on spring break and able to catch up on sleep. So I was doing that earlier this afternoon and had a very weird dream. I came to the dream and it was like I was my spirit self watching everything off to the side. The dream was set in this old gym and the school was still in use. It was like a gathering sort of like a rally. A bunch of people of all types from all races and classes were there. I saw on this stage in the gym a woman with brown hair with a red tint to it holding a sign (I don't remember what it said) and about ten-twenty people on stage marching in a line. They were protesting the local authorities and the woman (I'd say in her late thirties or early forties)was the leader. She came off stage and went to these two little girls. They looked about nine and eleven and both had similar hair to the first woman but their hair was more brown. The woman called the girls Lauren (the oldest) and Ariel and gave them a hug and asked how they were.

The girl Lauren asked the woman why they couldn't all go and look for their mother instead of being in the gymnasium. The woman hugged the girl Lauren and said how she was a very smart girl and got everyone's attention to go and look for her mother. For some reason I just knew they were talking about me and I was kidnapped through my work (I had some sort of fed agent job and I am currently a criminal justice major) and for some reason the authorities and everyone involved was suspecting the husband. I knew it wasn't him and remember trying to tell them it wasn't him and to protect him. I did see his image and he was tall and had bright red hair. He felt familiar. I do know someone now with the same hair color but we're not totally buddies or anything. Does anyone get anything on this dream? Is it just a dream? I can usually tell but am not sure. Thanks in advanced!

Heya southernbelle!

Is a dream just a dream? Yes sometimes, but I also believe that when you can remember a dream and it left an impression on you, it would be a sign to look into it. I believe that it can be a message to yourself.
I can only ask questions or give you general interpretations of dream-symbols. But in the end, you are the only one who knows what those symbols can mean. You are the only one to fit the pieces of the puzzle together.

A lot of the time, people in my dreams are symbols for certain aspects of me.
So there is a rally going on in your life. All different races and classes (Hey, so much different information pumped into your head while studying for your exams....classes....get it?) Marching up and down in your head.
The 'leader' woman (seeing it as an aspect of yourself) holds up a sign you can't remember what it said. When under pressure due to exams, certain aspects of your life are put on hold or in the background to make sure you focus on passing the exams.
The woman gets off the stage and takes time to talk to the girls. (The girls, playfull, fun-loving aspects of you?)
So, they are wondering why they can't get out of the place to look for their mom. You are kidnapped through work (being mid-term?)

Everybody suspects the husband, who feels familliar to you and you want to protect him. (the husband as in the male (-energy) aspect of you is part of who you are so to be protected?) In criminal justice the husband often becomes a suspect, I feel this part of the dream to be symbolism taken straight out of your daily life.
Maybe look into how you see the guy you know with the same hair colour as in your dreams. Is he harmless? What is the image you have of him in a nutshell? What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of him? That might be the key to understanding the male-energy-part-of-you in your dreams.

Anyway.....please know that what I wrote here is just my interpretation of your dream-symbols, in the way I dissect dreams. Most of it I write in questions because I intent to shed a different light on your dream, not to tell you what your dreams mean. So that you can think about it for yourself and find your own truth in it.

Have fun while on spring break, you deserve it!

Uhm....a list of my dream-symbols and interpretation can get a little personal :giggle:
But I can make a post with some methods of interpretation that would make a good starting point?
I do enjoy working on interpretations with other people. Like the way it happened here, and it would be lovely to exchange and reply to each other. It is the best way to learn about dreams and how they work, as I am never done learning!!
Gosh I will give that a try, yes?

Yes do please :) And I am glad you said that symbols can be personal, in fact I so totally agree with that! I get fed up with the boring mudane interpretations that are supposed to mean the same thing to everyone even if one has never experienced, heard of or seen the symbol before. :)
